A tree . . . and me

What looks like a warm, sunny day was
actually a bitter-cold (sunny) day.  I'm all bundled
up; as for the poor naked tree, every time the
wind kicked up, it looked like it was shivering!

[It's Shadow Shot Sunday.  To see more, go here.]

  2. The tree seems to spill out endlessly. Love the shot. http://www.looseleafnotes.com

  3. I like Colleen’s comment. It does look as if someone kicked over a 50-gallon barrel of anti-gravity black paint that slowly oozed uphill.

Just read an interview with the creators of Game of Thrones, David Benioff and Dan Weiss, about filming in Iceland. The following comment stuck with me: “But the biggest challenge may be remembering the 37 pieces of clothing you need to put on in the morning if you don’t want to be frozen stiff by the end of the day.”

How far away is that 80º F greenhouse?

Oh, wait! This is all over the internet now. I think you just started a fashion trend!
