Past its prime, but . . .

There's a massive tulip border at the
Brooklyn Botanic Garden, with dozens of
blooms of each type.  When I took
this shot, these were the last two of this
cultivar standing.  I thought it was spectacular
even as it was beginning to fall apart.

  3. The complimentary colors, along with the beautiful bokeh really show off the tulips stage of life in a most lovely way.
