The Weekend in Black and White


I couldn't resist the chives at the greenmarket—
so pretty with their blossoms still attached.
Now I just have to figure out what to do with all
those chives.  Omelette, anyone?

    I’m in.

    Your image looks like a Dutch still life with similarities to one by Vincent. If I were to choose one of the two I would go for the one above.

    I planted chives in my back yard a couple years ago, so now I also must find a use for them. Fine b&w photo.

    Gorgeous composition, Alexa !! An omelette sounds wonderful, and perhaps you could dedicate some chives to sweet corn fritters while you're at it, ma chère.
