Thursday Challenge—"bright"

(Almost) all the houses on Burano are
super-bright.  The yellow one is a
bit much for me, but I'm kind of intrigued by
the very narrow turquoise place next to it.

  1. These colours in the context of where they are located are fantastic. There vibrant hues are uplifting. However, they definitely wouldn't be my choices for the home where I currently reside nor would they be for ma maison secondaire.

  2. I believe even a very drunk person could find that house!

    1. I think maybe a very drunk person chose the color scheme too. :~}

  3. Amazing colours. I Googled to see where Burano was & when I switched to Google Images & scrolled down it was just many photos with masses of colour. What an interesting place. Even on a cloudy day you'd still need sunglasses because of all the bright paint

  4. I remember hearing that brighter pigments are used when rendering because they fade and settle into a more muted 'right colour'. In Burano, they must know where to find pigments with no such fading issues ... not sure I could live with it, but it's a visual dose of happy pills!
